What is the MOST amount of MONEY you have made/earned from your MUSIC?

Especially as we are here talking about Production and obviously the expense it costs us producers to buy equipment we all know buying equipment is an investment....and I know some of you guys have already received a return on your investment…So what is the most amount of money you guys have earned/received from your music?…please be honest…I am sure any information you provide...will serve as an inspiration to other producers…thanks in advance! feel free to state the project, etc

I've made enough to pay off all the outstanding bills on my equipment and to soup up my Lexus LS400. Now any money that comes in is profit. Most of the loot came from scoring commercials, independent films and selling beats.

It's nice not to see that credit card statement anymore.

The most I ever got for a beat was 10,000 DM for a techno beat that I did a long time ago here in Germany. At the time of sale; 10,000DM was close to $8000US. I had to give up all publishing and producer rights for the song though. I did'nt care because I really did'nt want my name on that techno ish anyway. I only did the beat as an experiment. I don't know what they did with it because I never heard it anywhere afterwards. Probably because I don't frequent techno clubs. LOL!

There are still too many unknowns in my understanding of music production to feel confident in selling music to business's (radio, commercials ect..). Previous to feburary 2003 I have had no music background besides freestyleing and writting songs as an mc. But i feel there is more dignity in making boooomb beats than rapping.

once sold a beat for $70 yet i wanted it back afterwards. (got that rapper/producer curse) that was a year ago right after i started with reason 2.5. Now (since then) i dont sell em, 'cept for a couple xeceptions. Also gave 3 (by gave i mean sold for $50) to my rapping cousin who got a small distrubution deal and gave me all credits and (whalla) local fam.
