website promotion question

i have a website at: http:chrono.emuviews.com and want to know how to get my site picked up in search engines. I have had this site for over 3 years and it is still not in any search engines. Does anyone know how I can go about getting my website recogonized in search engines?

i'm not ready to "get out there yet" but i would like to be picked up by the stray/random person and get their opinion in my guestbook.

You need to write description and keywords Metatags. I don't see any in your source code.
That will help spiders to index your site on major search engines (with the exception of Google).

and no I havn't submitted my site to them yet, but i will now. I'll contact the majors and inquire about that process. Thanks fellas

Go to the major search engine sites like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc and look around near the bottom of their pages, they usually have a link there somewhere to submit your site.

excellent, i hit all the major free one's I think. I never knew about meta-tags or "submitting my site" before. So I should be cool now. Thanks again for the support guys
