For those interested in cataloguing their record collection into an online database, I may have the solution.

I created a database a while ago, I just never set it up in a webpage. I don't know how I can offer it to you all, unless someone wants to offer some webspace if you have a site.

I'm not saying I'm going to input the stuff for you, HELL NO! I'm just saying, I'll set up the pages and then you guys can input the info for each record, one at a time.

So in this thread, reply if you're interested, and also list some ideas you may have for the database, such as what columns you want (artist, song name, record label, year, etc) - stuff like that.

i'm interested in the database to set this up but i don't have a web site to use but for ideas i think it should be by artist, record label, year, instrument sounds and genre

Dreampolice, yeah php/mysql. But actually I'll do some calculations and see if I can just set aside some space on my server. In the meantime, keep the suggestions coming, or just reply to let me know you're interested.
