Ugly Duckling - Audacity

To be honest, i was never a big Ugly Duckling fan in the past for whatever reason but their new album Audacity is pretty dam dope....
Just passing this on in case anybody wants to peep out some good music....

I think whats impressive about this album aside from the production being on point on virtually every joint is the tightly recorded vocal tracking on this album....
These guys dont just rap successfully and make it sound fresh - they have really dope harmonies and cool parts where they add their own singing too and their shit is on point.

Its pretty cool, I like it cuz it sounds like it was recorded in the ol crib studio!
More power to us crib recorders!

There is obvious beastie boy/ ol skool influence here.

Not sure if you peeped out the joints from audacity but those ones sound clean dude, i didnt catch any poorly recorded bedroom studio stuff on that one!?

prolly the player on myspace, but the vids there is a def diff, but I think what I mean beyond that is that they have that feel which is a good thing.
Not like that HUGE ass sound over processed an all that.

Word, like i said, i actually never liked these guys originally but once i got a hold of the new album i changed my tune, i think they stepped their game up big time...
