Anyone who listened to this album probably noticed that a voice sounding like Tupac's says shit on some tracks like "Drop that shit Em", or "Big Ballin ass nigga named Trice" or "G-Unit in this muthafucka". For anyone out there thinking otherwise, TUPAC IS FUCKIN DEAD, OK? Now that we got that out the way, how did they do that? My first thought was that they got a nigga that sounds like tupac to say those lines. But i was reading online that Eminmem manipulated his voice with some program (i find that hard to believe). Anyone know how they did this? I also find it hard to believe that they just took him saying "g" and "unit" and blended it together. Anyway that cant be true because how do you explain him saying "Trice"; its not even a fuckin real word. But Im rambling on now, so ill just shut the fuck up...

hmm if hey didnt use someone who sounds like him, am sure they just sliced shit up. like trice, they probably got a word from pac saying 'twice' and a word saying 'try' and did some shit with that. same technique for the other words too, like g-unit.

Tupac is her mentor and she feels like the hiphop scene right now has too many rapper's that talk crap. For her, Tupac as the deepest Lyrics and she cant bear the thought of hearing G-UNiiiiiit or Eminem on his album. She said that People has no respect to the man on his grave lol. She said that is not fair, because Pac cant do much to defend himself. I wonder what Afeni thinks about it...

yea it could have been cut up even ive managed to chop stuff up so it sounds like its saying something different so id imagine with all the gear they got there they could get it pretty good ! e.g. fabolous - breathe, the vocal doesnt actually say anything but with a bit of playing about it sounds like breathe !
Or you can get voice profilers that can take vocals from people and create a program that will sound like the person and get it to say woteva they like !

Yea, I can see that. Afeni must approve of it cuz Eminem got them from her if I'm not mistaken. But Pac definitely can't defend himself, so who's to say he would even do a track with these people if he was still alive.

I have a software package that actually manipulates the frequencies, pitch, etc to imitate the "voice" of the target waveform into a new file.

example. I have Bush saying "I am George Dubbya Bush. I am president. America. Al Qaida" and some other words, just to get a sample of his vocal properties. I also have a file with someone who KINDA sounds like bush saying "I have compiled weapons of mass destruction, and I will not hesitate to use them against the people of the united states of america"... it then immitates the original and makes the 2nd voice sound remarkably like the first one.

Kinda like how they did it on the intro to Xzibit's "Weapons of Mass Destruction".
