FINALLY got my first peace to production. But im lost, and my acrobat is actin wild, so while I get that situated (for the manual online) I will ask my questions. I have the FPC in FL Studio 8 setup with 8 pads that I want in the order I want them...but how do I get the trigger finger to trigger those pads to sound through the program? I have the midi controller IN enabled as my trigger finger, but what else do I need to do???

You may need to assign the knobs to the corresponding "key" the note is triggered by. Check the manual for more in depth details, but I think you press the (Save and Exit) button and then the (Exit) button at the same time to go into edit mode.

Then press the pad you want to assign you will see it come up on the TF (Trigger Finger) menu. Then the C1/Note knob controls the key the pad is corresponding with in FL. So twist it from left to right very slowly until it hits the key you want then do that for the next pad. After you finish tap the Save and Exit button.

its showing that its not even sync'd or whatever to FL Studio but it should be as it is set as my input. I didn't install any drivers as it was recognized just from the USB. should I install one of the drivers? this is confusing!

it's saying something about the operating system not being supported when i try to install the disc.

finally got the cable in for my keyboard. midi -> USB and I am trying in both live and fruity to get it to work with no luck in either. In love I can get the "out" light on my "interface" if you will, to flash if I dump or change anything in the midi options. I don't have any of the live preset controllers, and don't know what to do from here to get it working.

fruity loops just plain doesn't work at all. it recognizes a USB midi, but I can't find a driver or anything for this keyboard so i dont know if it recognizes it....but its under the controller setup. any tips are appreciated.

Make sure you select the CORRECT OS version you're running on your computer i.e windows xp sp2, sp3, Vista etc ect. Look toward the bottom of the screen after that and you'll see drivers for the Trigger Finger.

download Enigma as well. It'll help you set up the Trigger Finger based on what software you're using it with. Most of the software that is in use like Live and FL should have presets in Enigma

I did what you said and I am more confused than ever, probably cuz im computer stupid. I found a written walk thru on a roland forum and tried following it to assign my sliders at the least and now the TF won't even connect with FL Studio. I haven't even tried live yet. I don't know how to use that program at all though, so FL will work for now if I can get it where I can use the TF fully.

Do you know of a good tutorial on how to setup the TF with enigma? Or does anyone... I hate asking all these questions, but the dude sent me a keystation manual instead of a TF manual (and my adobe reader is jacked......and enigma doesn't hardly have one from what i have found.
