just wondering if there are any other fans in here....
i just got the new album. its pretty dope, no complaints here- whoever their producer is did an excellent job. quality-wise, its the best recorded album, the best tonal qualities, things like taht.its got a much more "mature" sound then their other albums. it isnt as catchy as the last album- there are no "i wish you were here's" or any of that- but it is a really cohesive album. topically you have your usual incubus with a few more politically driven songs (a few besides 'megalomaniac') than you'd normally expect from them.
i love this album already.
am i the only one that thinks brandon boyd would be an ill mc if he would have grown up a spanish kid in new york? anywhere but calabasas? i think he could do a credible job even now.....
