Synth sound in "I Get Money"

Alright,
I'm gonna state the obvious here:
This beat is fucking dope. I hear it about ten times a day coming out of cars, heard it three times at the club last weekend, and it's just undeniably bangin.
Anyways, what kind of synth sound is that on the main groove? It's really interesting, the notes don't cut eachother off. Maybe it's a sample?

naw it aint a sample .. im not sure what synth it is... but its using a portamento effect thats why its so fluid and wavey like that.. it also sound like hes using the unison function and defintely the synth is a lil detuned. Any decent workstation or synth has portamento just experiment or read the manual. I know apex uses a motif and a roland mv8000, but im sure he has a couple of things in his rack too so im not sure what synth he used to play that.. if u tweak any VA synth enough u could prolly come up with a sound like that .. my ion could sound like that if I cared to try and replicate it.

I was figuring some kind of glide/portamento, but it's real fast, you don't really hear the pitch sweep up or down. It's nice and thick and gritty too, great patch.
