Sooo What are Your Current Projects????

What's goooood, I need threads like this because its good to see other people doin big things and it's also motivation to keep pushin with this music when you got a family, long hours @work, and car, house, boat,Visa payments to make ya feel me!

As for me: (Right now)

I'm working with a couple local guitarists to start a series of Rock and Classical Guitar royalty-free Sample CD's. I play guitar myself but I like to grab other people and collaborate on projects because the more ideas and experience equals a better overall product.

I have an upcoming initial "screening" meeting with an artist who wants me to direct his next video. He was one of the 1st artists signed to Roy Jones' Body Head Entertainment but Roy was shady on the business end, so he's shopping his stuff to other labels out there.

Freelance music biz writing for a couple publications around the area.

Looking for spoken-word artists to start a mixtape series. I want to maybe fuse a lil jazz sampled hip hop and definitely go-go but slow down the tempo a bit so that the artists can get busy. Def Poetry Jam gave spoken word some light, but I think it can be a steady independent seller for the 25-49 demographic.

(Near Future)
We'll start filming a documentary on Go-Go music and its roots and more importantly the Untold Story behind some of the biggest bands in the Chocolate City.
I was inspired to take on this project by watching the Beef DVD series (they actually did some research to make that) and listening to RE's greatest hits (they tell stories as the interludes). Add that with some raw ass footage of a live go-go show and boom!!! 100,000 copies sold in DC and PG County alone!

I'm thinking about grabbing my camera crew and taping the Carnivale both here in Baltimore and over there and T-dot. Think Girls Gone Wild meets Dancehall. To make it truly ill and worth buying though, I would probably have to film for a couple years straight and edit

Rep your current projects or what you plan on working on in the future! Peeeeace.

nice, you got loads goings on there, videos, production, sample cds and then you also got work, amazing to see how you handling all those things tight.

As for me, am just building my catalogue of beats in preparation for when i move cities. Recently got a connection with a product manager over at emi records uk, after doing a remix for one of their artists. If all goes well, he'll pass on a cd of my beats to A&Rs over there, but aint counting on it too much. To sum it up, not much going on except that i want to get a huge set of beats ready for when i either move to london or manchester for university.

Right now, we're workin on getting our name known. Steel Side records. Outta Baltimore. Main thing we're doing right now is distributing mixtapes. Basically just a conglomeration of different artists in the area that we've recorded. Things are movin slow, but we all gotta pay our dues. Working on building up the studio, but it's slow going. Developing a website, but no major projects like shadeed.

WOW, everyone has some great stuff going on.

Jmaafia - that project sounds fascinating!

Classic - 200+ beats!!!

DJ X-Sinna - when are you going to Naples? My family is originally from there...Its an amazingly beautiful place I hope to visit for my self at some point in my life.

...As for me, I'm currently working with a couple of UK emcees; just a few odd tracks at the moment but I plan to keep working with both of them on various other projects. There are also a couple of other people I am in the process of networking with, but thats a lot more uncertain.
