So I've never really been too interested in stuff from the south, but I found some decent shit from this guy Gene the Southern Child. He hails from Alabama, and although not a fantastic MC, he's got the production group Parallel Thought on the boards. The result is pretty fantastic. Some seriously dark and trippy beats that suit Gene's flow.
