Love acoustic guitars! Layering them on the choir is great to add depth and more emotion. I can't figure out what that filtered stuttery thing is going on in the background (chopped up choir?) but it adds some cool texture.

This reminds me of visiting my family in NYC every summer when I was a kid. New York in it's purest form!

Decent beat fairly decent mix too.

The mix advice I will have is more nuanced stuff.

The guitar sample feels a bit weak, and a little disconnected from the low end. Not sure if you could push some more weight into it to help it connect. Also could be because it had quite a lossy sound to it.

Levels on the low end are fine, sounds are good, wondering if there could be more movement/groove to it has quite a flat feel to it.

Maybe could have grittied the drums up a bit.



Overall, nice beat and a good mix. Good work!

Great groove, got me nodding my head. Love the freestyle sounding vibe.

Personally, I would bring the highs in the beat up a fair bit, would elevate the record. Not sure if it would detract too much from the 2000s 'mixtape' vibe, maybe it can still have the vibe bit still be a bit brighter.
Found some of the adlib panning a bit out of place, didn't really fit for me, or maybe i just didn't 'get it', but i might have tried sitting it back into the mix a bit more or a bit more fixed/gelled
