First one sounds pretty good, the sample especially
Second one, not so much. Sounds like your "first beat" if you get me. Which is glaring seeing as how good the first one sounds.

Here's mine

yo thank you for your feedback ! ^^ I might have gone a little overboard on the ol experimental classical piano/trap hybrid thing hahaha oh well, glad you enjoyed the first one atleast :) gave your beat a listen the drums and 808 are really well used in terms of the rhythm i like it a lot, feel the melody might need a few more variations/hooks as it gets a little samey after a while, although you did spice it up a little with that bridge, all in all nice work and love the avatar thumbnail btw :)

@Crispifier that first ist really good. Sample creates some chilled vibes.
I think it’s important to adjust the drumsample sto your instrumental chords.
Anyhow, good jobs.
The scone is a little bit too much. Try to keep it simple

@Marc Duncan good Job. I could imagine j.cole Get on this

I Think the easiest way for listening my beats is to go to my reverbnation profile and listen to what interests you from my playlist of 121 beats.

aint nobody going to do that, pick something for people to give feedback on. Post it here, thats the easiest way.

@OMAR. Its a well made trap beat, the mix sounds decent, the kick knocks. There is nothing really here for me that sets it apart from many other trap beats though. Seems to follow the formula and in doing so loses its own identity, if you know what I mean.

@Marc Duncan There is something about those two layered sounds that start from the intro, the one panned right is a bit harsh to my ears, i think it takes up too much of the frequency spectrum and should be thinned out a bit, and the harsh midrange frequencies cut a little, when that sound drops out and the synth loop comes in, it sounds so much better, I think just lowering the volume on the flute and pad should fix a lot of the problem. Its not so much the flute, but its definitely that right panned "pad"?

@Crispifier Falling, this is really dope, I like the "falling" sample, its a nice touch. Real nice composition, no harsh frequencies, decent mix. Could probably benefit from more low end and maybe even a hi hat to give it some presence in the high end. Good variation, I love that organ. I really like your layering and composition, good work.

Chains, firstly, that snare isnt working. I feel if you stripped the drums and redid them without trying to force a trap direction and just let this go where its going this could be a great piece of library music for games, tv or film. You are a talented composer man and I like your style.

@Crispifier i like the first one the second sound too "stock" needs some flavor
@Marc Duncan dope beat i like that arp that comes in at 1:17 maybe resample and chop it for some variety
@omar this ones funky my guy 808 knocks
@2GooD Productions all nice boom bap flips nice work
@Big moon Muzic i like it but it feels like its missing something maybe a rap over the top of it haha definitly clips in a couple spots like @ :40 when the horns drop

couple flips i did

couple flips i did

really like both of those. I really like how you mix your tracks, on arson, I really like how thinly you have filtered the main vocal, it really works in that context. and with the other beat, i really like the understated bass pad, has an analog feel to it. The drops are dope and I love the ducking on the synth pad, always been a fan of your stuff. You capture moods and feelings, I like that. Always a really polished sound.

@2GooD Productions thank you. really value your input your feedback is always so detailed its really helpfull! :) super hype you like the first one redid the mix like 5 times trying to get everything to sound clear haha so am happy you noticed :D agree about chains, snares are the bane of my exsistence man :p was trying to experiment but i think i was to ambitious with the trap aspect having just learned how to make the hats go brrap but thank you loads that you found something good in it atleast :)

So on to ur remixes no where near as knowledgeable as you but ill give it a shot :p

Nb 1 i like how you mixed multiple melodies favorite is the guitar sounding one that comes in later its understated but very cool not my fave of the bunch but good nonetheless

Nb2 this one is fire its got a real jazzy sound to it the offbeat drums and the lazy guitar mesh very well

Nb3 oh yeah that rhodes baby really like the style on this one has a slow somewhat sad beat and feel to it but it definitly works! (personal fave)

Nb 4 holy shit this one has energy the bass is sick and the choir like synth makes me think "oh damn shit is going down " the single guitar power chord is also is dope and adds a lot of power (actually this is my personal fave) i listened to this like 4 times hahaha :D

@OMAR. I like this im quite inexperienced when it comes to trap beats but damn do those hats sound great and yeah that kick rips the roof off i think it lacks a little spice though it needs like a wowfactor or some personal flavour just "something" added (not very helpfull but its hard to explain) all in all good work m8 enjoyed it ☺

@Big moon Muzic agree with the drums being weak on chains i come at beatmaking from a musicians perspective so i still have a lot to learn about drums i thought yours was really cool i think the energy in the track is top notch and i wish my 808s sounded like that cant find much to critique but as others have said it would greatly benefit from a rapper or some variations although personally i still think its really solid as is

@tomkillsjerry holy shit you have talent my man some real artistry on display here love the vocals with all that reverb on the first one it really works so cool! Loved the other one too very moody has a lot of that ethereal "something" i was talking to @OMAR. About imma check out more of your stuff again holy shit

@Crispifier
1) Cool oriental atmosphere and mood of Guy Ritchie films. A good idea!
2)
Night and Mystical Beat, but I would change the snare, the drums are very similar to 8 bits.
But overall good music work. Well done :up2:

@Marc Duncan
Good Beat!
I liked how in the beginning, instead of Kik, she just plays bass and in the middle the background sound changes. In general, it sounds very voluminous. Well done.:up2:

@OMAR.
Sounds good!
High-quality modern sound.
Nothing more to say.
Well done!:up2:

@2GooD Productions
Hi BRO!:brofist:
1) the classic sound of the old school. In this you are well done, sounds and shakes.:up2:
2) Rock on - This is fire :fire: bro! I love this style!
3) - 4) The same situation. It beats all in one classic swinging style. Cool, I really liked it! :up2:

Hello everybody!!
:brofist:
This is my new BEAT with a guitar and piano.:keys:
It sounds a little lyrical but it's in the mood!

@Crispifier I love the first track! :D Composition is great. Those vocal samples you used sound perfect. I like the mood of the beat. Nice snare. Cool arrangement. I think it's more suitable for some soft pop song rather than rap. But I have to say it's awesome. :D

"Chains"- piano sounds nice but I don't like the sound of drums. Also I don't like that part that appears around 0:45 mark as in my opinion it doesn't suit the rest of instruments.

@Marc Duncan Very good 808, nice choice of sounds when it comes to drums. That little chant you used also sounds cool. Maybe one thing that I didn't like was that part that appears at 1:16.

@2GooD Productions Nice remixes.

@OMAR. Nice, punchy drums. Nice hihat rolls. It sounds like modern trap in style of Future etc. I have to say it's done very well. Good job.

@Big moon Muzic I think it would sound much better with a rapper on it. As an instrumental it gets a little boring after a while. But it's good that it has a lot of space for an artist to perform. And as @tomkillsjerry mentioned some vocal chops would help a lot here. But overall it's decent. :)

@tomkillsjerry

"City Morgue"
At first I was a little bit confused because it was too soft for your style hahaha :D But then at 0:36 good tomkillsjerry came back. :D I like it a lot. The whole track is mixed wonderfully, it has a lot of energy. Great job

"Men I Trust"
I didn't like the vocal here. Instrumental is not bad but vocal is a real turn off for me here.

@WIKTO-GRIZZLY You know I'm a big fan of your content. :D Another smooth, soulful production from you. I love the melodies here. Both on piano and guitar. Cool hihat rolls. Drums are on point. There is nothing to add really and nothing to improve. :D

@WIKTO-GRIZZLY man so much musicality here you said you'd just recently picked up the guitar but you sound like you've been playing for ages and the tone is great ! i'd really like to make something a bit like this with using a real guitar (once i save up money for a soundboard) really like the piano aswell you're using very natural unprocessed sounds and it really works.. the tape effect you had going is cool aswell, stellar work m8 i love this! oh btw ur video editing skills are also on point ;)

Falling (With You) - I really like what you did with the sample, nice vibe there. Good job!
Chains - I have to agree with @Marc Duncan - it sounds basic. I mean the composition is really complex, but it doesn't seem like everything plays together to create unified vibe. Nevertheless I liked the piano :)

First one sounds pretty good, the sample especially
Second one, not so much. Sounds like your "first beat" if you get me. Which is glaring seeing as how good the first one sounds.

Really nice vibe, but I think the composition or arrangement in the first part could include more bass, because it's so minimalistic I don't feel the foundation of the beat. But that maybe my personal preference. Great transition! I really dig that "let's turn around this beat, like 180 degrees". Good job!

@Crispifier that first ist really good. Sample creates some chilled vibes.

I really like the drums and mix. But the samples and whole composition is too simple, as for me. Pretty good for freestyle purposes, but probably too simple for a more complex requirements. Buuut, then again - that's maybe just me :)

Been working on a re-mixtape, heres a few of what Ive made this week.

I just admire your work, sir! Everything is just so tight, drums hits hard, basslines are dope. Good work there, keep it up! :)

@Crispifier The first beat is very relaxing, I can meditate on it)
second beat, weak drum part.

@OMAR. not bad, love it, but not so much variety, you can add guns to the atmosphere)):cool::)

Rate my beat

he is from a previous topic, but passed by

Really nice beat. Dope 808s and horns, but I think that horns could be less reverbed, so they would hit harder. Anyway, nice sound, you got there!

@Crispifier i like the first one the second sound too "stock" needs some flavor

Wow. Nice sound! I liked City Morgue better, because of the energy. This is like the golden age of the dubstep/2step type of energy :D
Nice mix also, but I think there is some filtering in the low-mid section, because it not so "bassy" after all.
Great work!

Love it! Lately I'm also trying things with guitar, but your production is on the other level. Very selective mixdown, really nice! Video is also well performed :)

Here is mine.

That's one tough MF! Great drums, 808s, mixdown. Everything is so hard hitting! Really nice work.

Here's two beats from me:

This one's refurbished beat, that I did long time ago:

And with this one, I'm really curious what do you guys think about nature, foley recordings over beats:

Best Wishes!
