yes i think first beat need more accurate mixdown especially the 808's and i think a cut in highs will be good too or better mix for the high frequencies, but definitely dope beat the second one here is also with good idea and nice smooth feeling i like it

I love this beat. It's really smooth and relaxed. Amazing samples too! I like all the different sounds you use in your production. I've been trying to work on my mixing skills as well so if you know a good video or article that I can read.... Thanks.

what about my new beat:
oooooooh very hard on the drop I love this sound with the trap style and the hi-hats but the other less hard hitting sounds are very nice as well. cant really make out that sound it is, might be a horn. Either way I would love to rap over this beat

@ABSEED I really like that man. The guitar and bass work really nicely with each other. Definitely not your normal beat, but I like it a lot!
Anyone want to check this out? I've been rapping for years, but just started making instrumentals a week or two ago. This is the first one I like. It's probably not finished, (and I know the mixing is messed up on the bass, I decided to drop it an octave, but didn't with one of the loops and then mixed based on that loop. Stupid.), but I'd love some feedback.

as a big fan of funk i really dig that beat the guitar has something of john frusciante whom i really love!
for your first beat its really good i find the melodic part somehow too loud but i am not so advanced in mixing
its a pretty amazing start keep doing beats and learning new shit!

thanks man! i really thought the drums came out well on this one!! as far as your new beat it sounds good but a bit generic. It sounds like the typical trap sound that is popular nowadays. Id like to hear a bit more variation. sound quality is nice tho.
Not sure about the 808s cuz I'm on laptop speakers but I def like this beat....the cymbals especially...very crisp sounding maybe work on better arrangement but even thats pretty solid.good stuff!
Solid man...did you make the instrumentals or is there some sampling involved...props either way but if this is your instrumentation than double props haha!Everything is sounding nice and snappy especially the snares and hi hats.
Was listening to a lot of Clams Casino when I made this haha....
