So I posted on here a few days ago with the Summertime Bliss tune- got to a point where I didn't know where to go, so I went up to my friend's house and recorded him piano so I could slice and dice him and this is what came out:

Fucking dope. Where did you get the vocal from?
I DONT BELIEVE your friend playing piano story though.
The sample has a real 60's/ 70's mastering vybe going on.

It really is!! i didn't even master it or anything- we used his USB compressor mic and a steinway or steinbeck (i don't know the name) grand piano..

Haha thanks man, I swear, what did it for me is learning the HOW's by doing shitty house music, and then switching it up like you were saying with the "smoking weed" tune, and finding something you really love to do!!

Pretty Lights Music and the like really inspire me.

This beat is fresh bro...with a lil more effects processing such as a delay on the horn stab this would be even fresher but yo..keep developing YOUR style of hip hop and you will be a problem in the near future.
