back in the days mp3.com was quick to set up. corporate greed has set in (realizing that they can make a buck) now they want your $$ and to get it they want to slow the set up of your page. soundclick is much better. I agree with the rest of the guys.

Peace

mp3.com is experiencing some trouble right now .. well, they always seem to be experiencing trouble. You're issue might be technical.
Also, please keep in mind that "Verified" and "Approved" are not the same - Approval will take a while (days, maybe weeks), verification happens within minutes.

While soundclick is easier, if you plan on selling your beats online, then I don't think mp3.com is too bad. A lot of people go there looking to buy beats, and if you are ready to shell out the dough, there are a lot of advertising opportunities.
A big advantage is that you can see how many people are accessing your songs - also, mp3.com has a lot of trafficto start off with so there is more potential exposure. If you are serious about it, I would recommend purchasing Platinum Status for three months just so you can put up unlimited songs and you have faster approval (as well as support!).

mp3 is better for promotion.. and more scouts that look for talent always check mp3.com.. but i would not register with them for shit..

just get a soundclick.com page... its easier.. and faster..
