Sending Large Files?

What's the fastest, and safest way to send large files through the computer? This dude said he'll give me his entire drum collection for a beat I made, and gave me a couple of demo samples, and they all seem high quality, so I accepted. How would we send the files though? He said he has over 20 gigs! But I told him to give me 10 gigs of his favorite sounds...Anyways, what are some methods for sending large files through the computer, safely?
