hahahaha, this shit is so funny. I slid my mans a beat. He said the instrument I was playin was sick as hell. Should I tell him that I created it with my voice with a seamless looper? I am going to start putting trademarks in all of my beats similar to that. Funny shit that I can only point out until I show someone.

Does anyone have secrets/trademarks in their beats (besides how they've processed drums)?

LOL like people are going to tell. When you find your trademark, keep it. Everyone who will listen to your beat will know its your beat. I can wait to discover your style. Thats what will make you different with all those producers out there.

Yo keep it to youself. Everyone has similar gear whether is FL, Reason, Motif, Triton MPC or what ever. So, there's not much different you can do with those that hasn't already been done. But when you create something like that, it's all yours. I have a bunch of tricks like that that I'll probably only share with my son when he gets old enough to really start producing. (lil dude is 5 and already step writing drum patterns in reason).

Yeah, I know. Trust me..there's more secrets to be made. However; I'm not really the type to "hold secrets" from other aspiring beat makers like myself. I guess there is a slight difference between techniques and secrets though. Thanks, guys (...and "Gyal"s) for the tips. I'll close the bag for now.

You can really tell because somethimes he doesn't edit out the breaths.

Yeah, I think I know what your talkin about. Like in "Keep The Receit" ft ODB, the guittar/flute is someone voice I think.
