Rewire Problem-

i just rewired fruity loops and adobe audition but i keep getting static in both programs every time i hit the play button it will play the sounds but distorted with static- help please-that kid...............

yo that kid. do your self a big favor(im really not trying to be a dick) but search the net for every topic you want to know about,print out some pages and read. thats what i did and i tell you i learn a hell of alot. search our great forum hear as well. It would be easy to just tell you everything,but you would learn nothing,mistakes are where you gain your best knowledge. best of luck.

P.S as for static you may have spywear,background services running,IRQ conflict,bad drivers(sound card),i could go on and on. search the net. best wishes

hey yeah you right but look let me tell this craziness, I had a problem with static and noise, there are a lot of reasons for static and noise....what kind of computer do you have? using rewire instantly taxes any system...
check your audio settings......a small delay in your program when you use it by itself, can be amplified when you use Rewire....you introduced a whole nother api to work thru.

check your outlets....do you have more than one power adapter or surge protector?.....sometimes plugging things into 2 different suppressors can cause a difference between them in voltage and the ground...that causes noise....

This is a problem I had recently, The ES has some slight noise factor to it....but I had this ridiculous noise being generated......it took me a few weeks to figure it out.......what it turned out to be was my usb port was doing it....but only if it had the motif plugged into......

man i cant express enough that if your going to do music with a pc use a dedicated pc strip that bitch to the shell( the OS that is) shit im currently workin on a 64 bit amd system. and ill tell you this it will never see the internet! it will just be a more powerful VS unit so to speak. i've been through the pops,crakles,static, and all that. the motif is hogging your pci bus thats why you have that prob Big.if you use your pc for net and other stuff pops and clicks are what your going to have to deal with.

it happens on my laptop too. and my laptop never sees the internet. and not only that but rewire works like a dream with sonar and not my adobe

so i decided to play around and inside of adobe. checkin all kinds of settings and the only one i didnt try was to kittle box for try as wdm. checked it and guess what. thats right it worked. give it a try see if it works for u thatkid
