Recording Software Opinions

I understand all the while people always asks which recording software is better which is easier etc. Does it honestly reflect on your opnions or does the softwares really make your vocals cleaner and better.

Well I haven't used many but at the moment I use Cool Edit cause I find it easy to use.

For Vocals I'd say Cubase Sx or Pro Tools. Pro Tools is easier i hear.
