recording problem

I'm trying to record a sample to my mpc from my computer. I transferred the song to the mpc1000 but i hear it. Blast me or whatever but give me some advice.

^Not sure about that sentence BUT....What you may want to do is pull the sample up in your pc in whatever editinig stuff you use..
Run from whatever wires your output is on your pc to the sample in on your mpc, you should see some levels bouncin around on the sample screen as the sample plays..
sample at will....

In other words: PC Audio out>MPC sample in> Press sample button
