Right... Receptor is a 19" rack synth that loads vst's... pretty cool...

But Uniwire is a whole new technology, pretty smart too as it works by the Ethernet protocol to transport audio and midi. Considering every pc has an ethernet of some sort this is bound to be a very good future protocol.

formant always at the forefront of the technology. that there vst thingy is quite intriguing. as well as using ethernet protocol, but i don't see a big advantage to it

it's cheap and adaptable, opposed to all those Mlan stuff, Firewire etc etc. You can use routers, switches etc to create a network, nothing audio related but plain simple pc hardware.
