Reason Rewire question

I'm looking to rewire Reason with Cubase but have a question that is real noobish but for all the years i been producing i only ever used Reason.

I rewire it,do i produce the beat as normal in Cubase or Reason...by produce i mean record,drums,sample etc,i will be using Dr Rex & Redrum in Reason but cannot figure out which 1 to record it in...LOL

for recording use cubase, for drums and instruments Id use reason.

Unless you are using an older version of Reason, R7 should be able to do everything you need without rewire. What are you trying to accomplish?
