Interesting.

I'd like to see what sets it apart. They already have Reason, so they don't need to make a music creation program, just an audio recording program... I want to see how they flip that concept to make something appealing. Seem's like a rough task.

That being said, I'm a Reason user, so this excites me. haha.

great app but am confused. why not just stick this within reason? if they really want to have the split between the 2 (marketing one as a simple to use tool - "record", and the other as an all out production suite) why not just have something like "Reason Pro" and "Reason Lite"?

Yep...that's the key...will it render those tracks as wav files separately like Ableton does. I think it's geared more toward actual musicians though....band type recording. For that, "as is" it sounds dope!

Ableton Live 8 would be better for most producers here I think. An "all in one" tool with the ability to render all tracks separately keeps things moving and makes it easier to drop into Pro Tools.

I tried to rewire Reason into AL7 for the sake of mixing this EP I'm working on, but I couldn't get my head round rewiring it at all, even with the video. :hungry2:

It's a rap then....all Reason fans should be jumping for joy! I'm definitely cop'n RECORD. Looks like I'll be using Ableton and Propellerhead. NO MORE COMPLAINTS ABOUT WHAT REASON NEEDS.....WE ALL HAVE IT NOW!

reason is still lacking a lot lol, the feature really is overhyped but very welcome in terms of reason standards. anyway, people still going to be needing to rewire to use 3rd party software and no midi out...
