and i love it but im still messing around with that groove thang!
plus quantizimg a sinlge note im still trying to find how to do it
its only been a few nights on reason 4
but if anyone can help holla

you can select the note in the piano roll, then press quantize. Voila

yeah but i want to change the quantize like for exsample if i want my snares to be on 1/4 i open qauntize note
but it just qauntizes it and doesnt give me the option to set it as 1/4 or 1/8 or ect.

Using the groove control mixer set up a few different grooves. Then put your snare notes on there own lane and apply the groove you want to that lane.

EXACTLY! Wiz I've told you to get deep into the groove mixer man. All the answers to your questions are there, trust me. You can have every single thing in your track quantized differently as long as you record what you want to twerk to it's own track. You can't have say "kicks and snares" on the same track and accomplish this. The possibilities are limitless! Whether you make you own grooves or use the presents (which are pretty dope) you can get 'err done!

I thought Thor was the greatest addition to Reason 4 but the Groove mixer quickly took over that spot once I took the time to see what it could do.

yo little drama!!! the shit is crazy i was on a collab wit kontent late last night
and i just found out how to get each kick, snare, high hats on there own lane
theres 2 ways to do this
record it
or the easy way go to ya redrum and put the kick on pattern 1 then copy to track then snare on pattern 2 then copy to track and high hats on pattern 3 then copy to track u can do it in the arrangement that u desire but when u copy to them to track in the redrum sequncer they have there own lane!!! then u just put up the grove and wa laaaaa!!! u was right!!! its only been a few days on reason4 but im learning it
and u are rite the groove mix is the best thing they did in reason4 plus i love the count in too and the sequencer box at first i didnt like it but i like it know!! still learning about the tool box!!
but good looks lil drama! it was funny cuz i found out that by accident but know i know i gotta get tight er with the groove box
as for the thor they have nice sound but i think its over rated and basically favor that alternative music
i cant even load up my own sounds in there?!?!
plus i think reason was being cheap they should of gave us more devices at least 3 more
but im feeling what they did wit da groove best thing they could of done!
