Question for MPD16 owners/users

How's the response on these things? I ask 'cause I just bought one from GC on my lunch hour and while I was there a couple of cats came it to compare The pad response between the mpc2000 and 1000 (they brought in their own 2000). One of the guys complained about the pad response on the MPD16 saying it was shitty.


What say you all?

I thought it was about the same as the MPC2000 You have to hit those pads hard! I really like my MPD16. I would take that and reason over and MPC any day.
