Can anyone tell me what exactly this "stomp" feature does? I have just started to learn the ropes on my asr-x and feel like there is is so much more this machine can do. This is one of the things that I need to learn how to use. Can anyone break down what it does and how to use it? Thanks alot yalls.

it basically makes drum and percussion sounds. depending on how you tweak the settings, you'll get a different somewhat random drum sound. i think you can choose between a snare, bass kick, or hi-hat. i've only used it once. i didn't really like it.

yeah. you can choose soundwave forms, oscillators and noise factors and frequencies and stuff, but i'm not knowledgable enough about all of that to have an exact idea of the result i would get from what setting. you can just experiment with it and see what you get

i just went and played with the stomper and came out with some phat sounds. i need to find a tutorial and figure out how to truly control it

here's a link to a page with a ton af asrx info i just found out i can connect the asr to the computer via scsi and edit my samples in ReCycle. now to find a free copy of recycle and learn how to use it
