What purpose's do the two sliders on the mpc1000 serve? i'm new with it so i was tryinh to get some 123 on it(that info by the way)

you can use them to trim and chop your samples. I like it much better than the wheel.

Also you can contro eq, tuning, filters, and velocity in real time if you have the new OS 2.1

I was messing around with these last night, having a f'n ball!!
