Pro tools sync

Sup yall Pro tools finally arrived today. I have finally switched over from cubase...

I wanna do the usual

I want to sync my MPC via MIDI to PT and record loops(to cut and past later on)

Ive done this hundreds of times with cubase but PT has a slightly differnt interface and the thin ass manual that comes with it isent any help. If done some searches but havent found the step by step detail that i want.

Does anybody have a tutorial link or something. I remember seeing a real good tutorial about this on the net somewhere but i lost the link....
feel free to drop steps how to do this also,

Thanks that helped i got it, it was a supid mistake, i had the midi button off on my m-audio firwire 420, Everyone still feel free to drop tips though....

PT is nice right, i just got the Digi 002. Im so lost. im so used to Adobe Audition.

Yeah welcome to Digi, Running on MAC or PC?????, I just learned a few new things on it also on my mixes which there is a lot you can do with it, I used Cubase and Sonar for years b4 I copped the tools 3 years back, basically a software recorder/sequencer is a software Sequencer recorder.....for the most part, it will not take you long to navigate around since you used some other recorders and start getting some beats tracked.....the main thing about it is if you cant mix worth doo doo.....you can get a reasonably good mix...but if you track a beat just take it to a certified pro they should have the beat bangin for ya though, most of the cats I know that place joints cant mix worth a shidd either for a pro final mix...they have an engineer....Tha1andonly...you got the console and everything??? I am planning on an upgrade soon also but thinking of going completely MAC.
