organ roll help?

ok when i try to do the organ roll when i am recording it sounds right then when i play it back it sounds different any tips on how to get it right going for that zaytoven organ roll.

My educated guess without hearing it yet, your either quantizing your notes or simply playing it differently then your really hearing it when u record it in. Gotta be one of the two.

i dont have a link. but i am using the grinder organ. i am a new reason user so i playing around with everything. trying to get my dirty south sounds right. ok this what happens when i do it on my axiom it sounds right then i stop recording then go into the piano roll it looks like the notes right on top of each other. dont get it maybe i gotta change some settings?? not sure hope this make sense but thanks for any input

oh ha i see. i did have the quantize on..thank shonsteez. ok i think it works better now that it is off. appreciate that i was stuck.

Word, just keep it shut off unless u absolutely have to have it on...
