OP-XY from Teenage Engineering

Now, it looks really good (as does most of their products), but it's the PRICE! WTF.

For those that don't know, these units are really small and I'm not a fan of that since I'm so used to regular-sized gear like the MPC and whatnot. I know some people are into the smaller gear but it's just not for me. Although I do like the EP-133 https://teenage.engineering/products/ep-133. I checked it out in the store and not only does it look like a calculator, the buttons felt like it too lol.

Anyway, the OP-XY looks nice but I'm just thinking of other gear like the Akai 37 for example, where it costs way less and you can do way more.

I'm sure it's a cool toy or whatnot (i say that not in a demeaning way), but it looks like it would be annoying to use. imho

Yeah that's how I see it with this type of gear. If I got something it would only to mess around with but I wouldn't make it the main part of my setup.
