Newbie rack - mpc question

sup guys,


quite a simple question.
whats the point of buying a keyboard if you already have an MPC? wouldnt you just get the rack insted and play the sounds off the mpc pads? i noticed heaps of peps gear listings say they have an mpc and a keyboard. what are the benefits of this??? excuse my dumb question but everyone has gotta be a beginner at one stage

the pad dont play like keys..its alot more complex to play chords and stuff off of mpc pads..
