ive been tryin to set up my boys studio.... he is runnin frituyloops and we want to be able to control fruityloops through the keyboard as well as record into fruityloops from the keyboard.... we have it hooked up with the midi cable ... but im lost as far as what settings and such you need on fruityloops to be able to do this.... i know nothing about fruityloops and midi ... help me out and tell me what u guys did to get your keyboard to work wit fruity!!

I don't have a keyboard hooked up to FL, but I do know that you need to first check the MIDI settings in there. What shows up when you click on Options>MIDI ?
You need to have the proper output port selected, and make sure where it says "Port Number" (usually 1) is the same as the MIDI port number on your keyboard. Plus there's other MIDI settings when you click on Options. Check around and play with a few of the settings because like I said, I don't have a keyboard hooked up to it, I use my computer's typing keyboard!
