New Reason help from you guys...

I am working on a book about Reason, just tips and tricks really. When you were learning Reason is there anything that stands out as a roadblock to learning it? Anything that would be helpful to know upfront? Thanks!

I salute your ambition, writing a book is -not- an easy thing to do, but once its complete you're immortal, meaning you'll always be known as an author.

With that being said, I think a solid FAQ questions section of the book in terms of basic setup.

REWIRE is a big issue as well, maybe provide a brief section on which popular apps will work with REWIRE and screenshots on how to setup.

Reason and Midi-controllers.

What makes Reason such a great application to use. (from your perspective. Many people have the notion "all programs are the same" but provide some "reasons" why the program is great)

Maybe some advanced uses for Reason that you have come across (to draw in hardcore Reason Users)

I kno it may too detail but how to wire such things on the back of the racks, without the auto routing, midi and latency, newbies would be real confuse with that if they never encountered it.

Sounds cool, I will cover some of that. The book is more about cool and interesting Reason tricks than a total beginner's guide. But I do love all the feedback, keep it coming. The book is about 1-2 months out. BTW There WILL be an Illmuzik discount.

I would say the shuffle and the shuffle knob on the bottom right of the rack is important to knoe cuz alot of ppl dont even realize its there and its purpose..that changes ur hole swing pretty important
