If I had a 002 rack that broke and a friend of mine is selling his, will it be compatible and can I load it onto my computer, mac G5? can I use my software or his??????

Seema to me it should work with the old software , I dont have an 002 yet, still rockin the 001, but unless there is somthing that sya you MUST use the same gear that cme with the software(which Im sure it doesnt)then you should have no problem..
That being said Digidesign is ALL bout $ so if the opposite were true then I would only be mildly shocked, before becoming violently angry and then tearful and eventually comotose on the whole subject...
