sup everyone
yeah so i havent been able to get on here lately cuz i had know pc while my boy was buildin me a new one,so i get a new pc and what do i do i buy a retarded blue light to go inside it so u can see the insides lit up through the window,i dunno why,but anyway now i notice every now and then i hear this loud ass annoying noise comming out of my speakers sounds like a constant dial up modem sample looped or sum shit it goes away when i mute all or even play music but if nothing is playing and its unmuted it will ventually come back and also, verynow and then the actual picture on the monitor will shake violently for a few seconds,im not sure if its the lights i installed in the inside i dont think it is because ill shut the lights off with the switch thats built into one of the floppy drive bays and ill still have thje same problems, any suggestions to what this might be?

I THOUGHT MY COMPUTER WAS FUCKED UP, IT SOUNDED NORMAL UNTIL U SPOKE ON THE "VIOLENT SHAKING"....COULD BE A LOT BEING THAT YOU JUST HAD YOUR PC RECENTLY WORKED ON, IF THE ONLY WORK U HAD WAS THE LIGHTS THEN MAYBE U COULD ASSUME THAT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM BUT U HAD YOUR WHOLE SHIT PLAYED WITH, COULD BE ANYTHING.GET THAT SHIT EXORCISED.

modem sound....????? what the fugg....it could be a bad power supply...but I never heard of a sound that comes thru the audio subsystem and when you mute it goes away, but it could also be a repetitive sound from an interrupt conflict, I have seen where certain programs that use audio don't fully release the audio driver and when another program that uses the same on starts uses the same memory area it echoes over and over....with xp I had that problem with aol and protools

go into the audio mixer and make sure all the mixers are showing and mute one thing at a time. when the sound goes away, thats your problem. then go to your inputs and do the same. im sorry i dont have exact instructions but i dont know your opperating system. the net should have lots of info on the audio mixer that your version of windows uses

Hey,

Have you tried installing updated drivers for your soundcard?

I would check your power set up where the cpu is plugged in. Make sure it's a 115 volt line. If you are using old power it may not be enough for your new computer. This happened to me when I got a new real fast cpu and I had to put in a new more powerfull outlet. But after that it worked fine.
