aight i don't know how to play keyboard and i want to be a hip hop producer so what should i do i am going to get lessons soon

depending on what program you are about to use to make beats, the key is to create what you feel when you hear a sound. If you are planning to learn how to play the keyboard, you will learn a lot of stuff one step at a time.

I can't play the keyboard either but Producer_Gyal got a point.....work with the sound. Another thing that comes in handy for me is Chords. I got me a piano chords book and mess wit dat. Try to learn a few chords, thats the easiest way. Once you get familiar with some chords......you can tweak 'em like you want 'em. You can take a chord that only use 3 or 4 keys and flip the shit out of it.
