Need Help Asap!!!! Right Now Please!!!....

I Jus Got My New Pc And It Says I Dont Have An Audio Driver Installed. Even After I Redid The Whole System Over It Still Said I Dont Have A Audiio Drive Installed But Ihave The Stock One Thats On The Main Motherboard!!!! Whats Going On With My Pc? I Have Been Thru The Whole Troubleshooting Process With The Pc And That Still Didnt Work!!!!! Whats Wrong What Is Going On With My Pc Why Is The Stock Audio Card Not Workin?

Can Anyone Help Me?! Please!!!!????

ya, what kind of mainboard is it? If you just ran the windows install it most likely does not have the audio driver. You will need the go to the manufacturers web site and download the driver. What is the make and model of the board?

You prolly need to install the drivers for the mainboard, Motherboard. I've had this problem too. Also, u may need to do the same for the on-board LAN.
For instance, the CD that came with the motherboard, needs to be inserted. That's where the drivers probably are.
Or, lets say you have an Asus Striker Extreme Motherboard.
Goto Asus website --->Dowloads ---> and search for the board you have, maybe you can work it for there.


But as Dream said above, windows does not necessarily install the driver for the board.

I got it from my grandma and she won it at her job...It didnt come with a manual or a box or nuthin like that I think it was one of there system computers but I installed Windows Xp cause it had Windows 2000 on it and it didnt have an audio driver on it then..but it has audio outputs and inputs on the mainboard its all stock but it jus dosent have an audio driver....soo I was wondering if u guys could help me....but its a pentium 3 processor soo im guessing the motherboard has sumthin to do with the pentium 3 I guess....??? Im really gettin irratated with it because I planned on making a beat but I can because I cant hear SHIT!

Please Help Ill Fam...

EDIT: I also Posted this same problem in another Forum last night and they help me with it...Soo I fixed my Problem! My sound was turned off in My BIOS soo I had to go into my System setup at the startup and go in and turn it on soo I got it now guys..But thanx for tryin to help me...!!!!
