myspace question

Ok, Im trying to put together this myspace page but when I upload my songs it tells me theyre too big. Does anybody know how to resize a mp3 or wav file without cutting part of the song or do I have to cut a verse out in order to put it on the page. The songs are only about 4:00 a piece so i dont understand why its acting up

what up Craig,,long time fam! But yo, what I do is resample the MP3 at a lower bit rate. Like 64Bps should be fine.

Try audacity I had this problem for a hot sec this year.
Now I load the mp3 into audacity then export it at 128bpsjkghgth thigy w/e.
That has worked for me. Audacity is free and that makes it better...

Anyone notice that the myspace player sounds like absolute shit?
They should also allow more songs to be uploaded..imo

Yeah, that player sounds like a crap!!!! i don't understand the purpose of the volume lever either. It doesn't even raise the volume that much. Audacity is nice. I use it as well. I just wish there was a Mac version of SoundForge though. It just seems a little more intuitive.

Speaking of MySpace pages...I would like to spice up my page with some graphics and junk like that. Is there anyone who can tell me how to do that? I've got graphics that I want to use for the background but I haven't the slightest clue as to how to apply them.

sign up for an account on photobucket.com or one of those file hosting sites like that. upload your pics you want to use for your background then go to
http://www.mygen.co.uk/
go to profile editor and play with it until it looks the way you want it.
if you don't want to use the media player on myspace. then you'll need to register to bolt.com or a site where you can host your mp3's (make sure you're mp3's cbr and not vbr)
then go to http://www.myflashfetish.com/
