I just ordred mine i'll give you my review as soon as i get it. Its supposed to be the next big thing but its hard to get a solid review for it. I been trying to find good info on it for about 5 months. If you go to rolandus.com the have video demos you can watch to get a feel for what it can do.

Just blaze kinda sort of reviews it in his blog on www.hiphopmusic.com u would have to search threw many post to find it though.....a summary would be that he thinks it is a good machine but MPC 4000 is better. He says the mv-8000 doesnt use some roland interface that roland machines are very famous for and he doesnt understand why...u will have to search the blog to find exactly what interface it was...chuuch

No offense, but if youve seen the demonstration video for the MV-8000, it looks to me like you dont even have to do any work with it. You might like that, but id rather sit in front of it and have to listen to get the sound right, instead of havin the Roland cut everything up for me. It kinda takes the 'Make' out of Making Beats. That thing makes me mad. I think its cool and all that, but i hope people dont start buyin that instead of lookin around.

Well poizonouz to be honest alot of akia people dont like it, i dont know if they are being honest or they dont like it because its roland answer to the mpc.Like i said i been doing research on it and i cant get a straight answer.Yeah helix you are right it does do almost everything for you but the fun part is taking a machine like this and coming up with new ideas.Imagine if everyone who had an mpc just used it for what it was supposed to do every song would sound the same.
