moving vst's and pro-tools

what up everyone..quick question..if I move my vst's from my main hard drive to my storage dive which is in my computer will they still show up in pro-tools since it's the same computer(mac)? don't wanna ask dumb questions but I really don't know..thanks in advance..beaglin

how are you using VST plugins in pro tools? Do you have a wrapper?

either that or he's calling his rtas's vst's

B: Make sure that the rtas's are in the rtas plugin folder and you should be fine, if you are using a vst with a wrapper then I assume it should be about the same thing.. make the everything is in the right directory or that the directory path in pro tools is going to the folder that has the rtas/vst.

? is why would you move your vst dll (or mac equivalent) to your storage drive? they don't take up much space. the libraries, if any, can be moved either via shortcut or by changing it's destination in the app.
