I need help with selecting a midi controller. I'm lookin at either an m-audio o2/oxygen8 or a korg microkontrol. I primarily use software such as fl studio and reason. I need a decent midi controller that has a good set of features but isn't too expensive, maybe under $300. Maybe yall can give me feedback on different midi controllers besides the m-audio and microkontrol that might suit me. Thanks.

(dont let the price on that page fool u, u can get it for 250 at musicanfriend.com)

HOnestly though, dont think about getting this controller unless you plan on using its full capabilitites. It would be a waste.....

Heard good things about it but DAMN those drum pads are soooo small!! only good for one-finger hits. nice allround midi unit tho i guess.

m-audio o2/oxygen8

The m-audio o2/oxygen8 is cool. Its also good for live situations. I wouldn't get an 88 key unless you are a piano player, save some money.

I would check ebay first, alot of times you will find some real good deals. You have a better chance at getting something cheap that is not only a midi control, but a good synth as well. A hardware synth is a weapon in the studio, try to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
