It's true though. We all know the story with today's rappers, mumble stuff, etc. It's all about what's hot, what's weird, marketing and all that.

I just miss the days of having actual good music with solid rappers that actually said something dope. There's some good stuff out today but not groundbreaking like there used to be.

Also @Fade I miss when solid singers actually sold records and performed. People never say it but globalization is why nothing is groundbreaking anymore plus add to that how subject matter has always been but is more interchangeable among both rappers and singers nowadays. It's the "if you heard one you heard 'em all" scenario.
