my grandma gave me these lil cheapo "special class" headphones when i got some *underatedly good* AKG K141 monitor headphones.

lol at a friend giving me a "state of the art" 49 key casio board... he says "state of the art" because "you can hook these things up to a computer now, and the keys light up!"

lol at my sisters retard boyfriend trying to give me a "band in a box" bootleg.

all of these people, bless their hearts, even the "i-have-no-job-nor-am-i-looking-even-though-my-7 months-pregnant-girlfriend-is-busting-her-ass-every-day-while-i-play-halo-2-on-my-giant52-inch-that-she-is-paying-for-with-her-$9 an hour job" bum my sister calls her boyfriend, they all mean well... but they just dont get it.

i explain it.

these are childhood toys. i got a pretty good setup. i make real music.

but they dont get it...

and yesterday, some *MORON* tried to give me some old clunkers.....a "Fairlight" and then an "Arp 2600" or whatever generic board it was....

best believe those found their way into the trash bins REAL quick.

lol, HELLO, i said i threw away a "fairlight" and "arp 2600", both well respected vintage synths... so much for the joke. i thought at least formant would tell me i was an idiot. those two didnt really happen..but they would be up on ebay while i was playin with em.

That reminds me of when I was a DJ and always wished for some vinyl at Christmas and Birthdays, yet always got a gift certificate to a shop that only sold CD's, and hardly any Hip-Hop.

Well My dad did ok atleast I think he was passing a Pawn shop and grabbed me a 49 key Evolution keyboard with a software bundle that had Cakewalk and Some learn how to play the Piano shit Not bad for a $125.

I ditched the software still use the keyboard as my midi controller
