KrzyS Plugin Review(ORGANized
I know many sequencer users have yet to explore the wide open world of vst and dxi plugins, why, because it is an extremely wide open world to even begin to explore. A world where many are scared to explore, because its a needle in a haystack to even begin to search for or even find a utilty useful enough to become to become part of a producer arsenal. So, this is where I come in, being that I have nothing to do and finding an excuse to step away from my equipment on occasions, I will begin posting reviews of free (useful) plug-ins found on the net.

Alias: Synth Edit ORGANized
ORGANized is a ToneWheel Organ Simulator with Vibrato/Chorus, Tube Amp and Rotary Speaker. It has 8 notes of poliphony, responds to MIDI control change events to activate the rotators and to change the distortion amount and has a percussion response like a real Hammond Organ.
Nine drawbars for ONE manual (next versions will be 2 manuals + pedalboard).
Characteristic harmonic foldback.
Percussion: two harmonics and two decay types.
Single triggered percussion: works like in a real Hammond organ.
Vibrato/chorus circuit just like in the real thing.
Realistic key click noise, played on note-on and note-off events.
Four envelope types: organ, piano, celesta, strings.
Tube amp simulator with tone control, bright and middle boost.
Rotary speaker simulator.
Bass and Trelble rotors have separate controls for speeds, acceleration and volume.
The bass rotor can be turned off.
Commands respond to MIDI control change events (cc.4 is foot pedal, cc.64 is the Leslie Switch).
Useability - :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 Krzy find this plugin a joy, and extremely useful and fun, the sounds are natural and really does bring back church memories, even has a slider to adjust the foot pedal and those things Uncle Joe would tug on when hes shaking the house down at church.
Overall Niceness - :headbang2 - I only underscored this one a bit due only to the fact that you have to know something about old school organs and amplifiers to really understand what it is you doing. I didn't, but messing aound sure helps, the melodies created are dynamic and rich, especially if you chord the notes when composing.. The interface made me feel like a child with a new toy, buttons, buttons oh buttons, and boy did I tinker with it. But be warned this baby takes a looooottt of CPU power, so your in luck if you got the power to push this because this a great addition to your arsenal.
Delete Potential - Extremely Low - I cant think of a reason not to have this plugin, I think it will be a great complement to some of my future tracks, there's certainly unlimited potential with this baby.
