well, i just got Kontakt aftermuch delberation and research (as well as finding it at $185 on ebay!) and i am still waiting to buy my pc.... kind of stashing the instruments away beforehand, as well on waiting for next payday... so does anyone have any suggestions for sound banks for this? i am more into acoustic sounds, b3 organs, guitars, keyboards (think that soft, vintage eletric piano sound, neo soul style i guess) and good strings and horns? i saw the ones on the Native instruments website, but there werent any demos. giga banks are bit steep at the moment, so those are a no go. any ideas?

yes, it does, but i looked them up and there does not appear to be many samples. there were like 3 pianos, 5 guitars, a few synths, like 6 drum kits. enough to get started, but i just want suggestions on things toi ubild up my library with.

Hey,

I only use it to make my own sounds, unfortunately, but I'm sure that it can load Akai format disks. There are literally HUNDREDS of different sample disks in Akai format, you could try just doing a Google search for 'Akai format sample' or something like that.

Here's a list of reviews for a bunch of discs:

Take care,
