Is this a good use in court for legal procedures?

Let me explain the story. There's a dj that wanted to put a mixtape to promote unsigned rappers and producers. I sent him a couple of tracks and he liked them. I ask him about my rights and he said this in a email :

" As far as your rights, credit, etc go with the mixtape, it is 100% yours. You
will maintain full credit and rights to your music. This project is being put
together to get talented people the credit and respect they deserve. Hopefully
this will lead to a distribution deal or a record/production deal for everyone
involved. We WILL NOT take credit for anything you do. You can print this
e-mail out for the records. You have sounds that we are looking for to help make
this project a success. "

That said, if there any bullshit that happens, is that a proof in court or whatever ?

I wasn't thinking about getting my beats jacked, but my friends kept putting negatives toward this and was saying: you gonna get stealed, you gonna get stealed, you gonna get stealed. And that kinda stressed me out, but I remember that email.

You can't get legal advice from anyone except a lawyer, that's the official answer.
