I went to the music store today

And it was actually disappointing. There were plenty of keyboards on display but none of them hooked up and turned on, so I couldn't play. There were a couple of DJ controllers just sitting there on the shelf off the wall and those too not plugged in.

Stuff like Maschine, Renaissance, Kontrol, etc were just sitting there in boxes. No one came over to ask me if I wanted to check out anything. Actually I didn't, I was just there at the store because I was bored, but the point is that it didn't seem too inviting.

Have you guys had any stupid experiences at a music store?

they're all like these days. i think it's a result of being able to get stuff cheaper online. the only time i actually buy anything from an actual music store is when i need (want) it today, or if it's a book or something small like that. music stores these days suck.
