I need help!

Im trying to install directx9.0b on my computer, at the end of the installation the computer restarts and I get a "Windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2" error, can anyone tell what I need to do to correct this?

2. some users found this to be helpful: "disabling then re-enabling the system restore function".

3. go to this page:

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/support_options.html

and paste the sentence:

Windows could not upgrade the file from %1 to %2

into the search-engine on that page, you will find a couple of documents, that might help you.
