You should add a break. We all get stuck from time to time. You've got something going and then you loose it...that happens.
Also, you can lave the beat and start a new one.
I personally start many beats and then leave them immediately when I get stuck. Then just go back to them later and see if they inspire to something new/more.

Yeah a good technique is to just take a break! Either step away completely or start a new track then come back to the other one a couple of days later.

sometimes when you think you're stuck and want to add more you end up adding too much take a break like they said but post what you have in the showcase so you can get some feed back if it missing something someone will tell you

Whatever you do, don't delete anything just cause you get stuck. Walk away from it and work on it some other day. You never know...that track you got stuck on can turn out to be a banger. I think getting stuck is part of the beat-making process...so just keep at it.

Very good point. More of us should do that. I think we tend to think that only 'finished beats' are posted in the showcase but it can definitely be used for that as well.
