hey wattup, ive had an mpc1000 for bout 6 months already and im having a hard time learning how to use it. i havent messed with it too much but the times i have it seems really complicated. i got it without the instruction manual so i had to download it from the akai website but even with that it seems all complcated. i was wondering if anyone knows if there are any videos available wether on the net or sold in stores where it teaches at least the basics. or if anyone stays close to where im at and wouldn't mind helping me out a lil bit i'd appreciate it. alright thanks, 1

Ok look I dont want to be disrespectful but the first part of what you wrote is one reason, you will not learn any mpc overnight, but once you get the basics of loading the samples to the pads you halfway there, then I would say learn how to make a simple 4 bar loop consistently......you basically press play and record and you should hear the metronome kick in and then play along with it.... I would say get into the part of the manual that tells you how to load the samples, then the part that tells you how to make a sequence.....hit us back or get with someone in your area that has one that is the easiest way or go to the guitar center and then have someone show you how to load and then record a sequence....there are video tutorials but I dont know if any are at the level of how to load and make a simple sequence though
